The COMPANION cargo tricycle is the first chainless cargo tricycle that combines the ease of use of a bicycle with the practical flexibility of a car. Thanks to its ultra-low step-through height of just 18 cm, you can hop on comfortably - without any momentum or risk.
Stable as a car but agile as a bicycle, the intuitive steering ensures safe and comfortable riding. A reverse gear makes turning around in narrow alleys a breeze.
The large cargo area holds up to 100 kg or 130 liters and is perfect for groceries, grandchildren, pets, or moving. With a maximum rider weight of 150 kg and a total weight of up to 250 kg, the COMPANION is incredibly versatile.
The innovative Cixi drive is quiet, low-maintenance, and even features energy recovery during braking—all without chain oil or shifting.
Theft protection and maintenance can be managed via an app.
Each frame is handcrafted in Nehren in the Tübingen district and combines Swabian craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology.
Features
Ultra-low entry
The exceptionally low step-through height of 18 cm makes it easy to get on and off the bike. This makes it convenient for everyday use and suitable for people of all ages and mobility levels. Ideal for city riding.
Huge storage space
The spacious cargo area offers 130 liters of volume and a payload capacity of up to 100 kg. This allows you to transport groceries, tools, or other heavy loads safely and comfortably—without compromising on stability or ride comfort. Practical for everyday use and demanding transport tasks.
Cixi drive
The Cixi drive uses the innovative Pedaling Energy Recovery System (PERS)—a chainless and beltless pedal system. Instead of a mechanical connection between the pedals and the rear wheel, an electronic control unit transmits pedaling force directly to the motor. This allows for intuitive speed control and braking using only the pedals.

- Low maintenance: No wear from chains or belts; minimal maintenance required for the first 50,000 km.
- Energy-efficient: Regenerative braking recovers braking energy and charges the battery while driving.
- Durable & reliable: No gear shifting required; less prone to malfunctions.
App Control
With the Cixi app, you can conveniently control all key functions of the PERS drive using your smartphone. These include:
- Digital Lock and Anti-Theft Protection (remotely lock the drive)
- Geolocation (track the cargo bike's location in real time)
- Riding Statistics and Activity Data (distance, energy consumption, range)
- Cadence Settings and Riding Modes (customize pedal resistance)
- Over-the-air updates (automatic software updates for new features)
- Lighting control (high beam, low beam, turn signals)
